In 2009, BJD gain 37.23% of the vote share which increased to 44.77% in 2014 and reduced marginally to 43.32% in 2019. BJP increased its vote share from 16.46% in 2009 to 21.88% in 2014 which further increased to 38.88% in 2019. INC got 32.75% of the vote share in 2009 which decreased to 26.38% in 2014 and dipped further to 13.99% in 2019.
In terms of vote share, BJP saw an increase in it by almost 73% against the previous year. It will be putting in efforts and placing all the resources at its disposal to rally more votes behind it for the next general elections in the state and gain an upper hand.
