BJP received 47.37% of the vote share in the 2009 elections and 59.1% in 2014 which further increase to 62.21% in 2019. INC, on the other hand, garnered a vote share of 43.86% in 2009, 32.9% in 2014 and 32.11% in 2019.
BJP managed to register a vote share almost double the vote share of INC in the last two Lok Sabha elections and continue to be the dominant party in the Gujarat Lok Sabha elections.
