A voter turnout of 63.03% was recorded at the end of the fourth phase of polling across 59 constituencies spread over nine districts of Uttar Pradesh. Lakhimpur Kheri, where eight people were killed in violence last year, witnessing the second highest turnout at 68.43%, Unnao saw the lowest turnout- 59.34%, while the highest was witnessed at Pilibhit– 69.20%, as per data released at the Turnout App.

Of the 59 seats, the BJP won 51 in the 2017 Assembly elections, four was gained by the Samajwadi Party, three to the Bahujan Samaj Party and the remaining one seat went to BJP’s ally Apna Dal (Sonelal).
