Ambedkar Nagar is a Lok Sabha / Parliamentary constituency in Uttar Pradesh and is located in Central India. It is designated as a general constituency.
In 2009, out of a total of 14,93,750 electors, 8,11,338 voters cast their ballots. Of the 7,97,809 male electors, 4,33,340 participated in the election, constituting a turnout rate of 54%. Additionally, 6,95,941 female electors were present, with a turnout rate of 54%, amounting to 3,77,998 voters.

In 2014, there are 17,18,774 persons who are eligible to vote and 10,34,404 of them chose to exercise their right to vote. Out of these, 9,23,553 were male electors and 7,95,221 were female electors. 59% of male electors (5,41,200) and 62% of female electors (4,93,204) cast their ballots.

On the other hand, the voter turnout for females stood at 64% which translates to 5,31,868 voters out of a total of 8,27,722 female electors in real number.
