During the 2012 elections, the total number of electors was 197011 and the constituency recorded 73.12% polling, in real numbers- 144051 voters. 2017 witnessed a slight decrease in turnout; out of the 216288 electors, 72.32% of voters exercised their constitutional rights. In real numbers though it was a reasonable jump-156422 voters.

2017’s assembly election winner, BJP’s R. C. Patel gained a vote share of 55.24% and defeated INC’s Parimal Nanubhai Patel whose vote share stood at 38.84%. The remaining candidate in the fray was independent candidate Bhatt Dhananjaybhai Nanubhai with 1.80% Vote share. 2.06% of votes were under NOTA.

In 2012, BJP won the constituency and earned votes 76797 that increased to 86411 votes in 2017. On the other hand, INC garnered 58930 votes in 2012 and 60747 votes in 2017.  BJP dominated the district of Navsari in 2017 by winning 3 seats.  INC won the remaining 1 seat.
