Gadhada assembly constituency is located in Botad district and consists of:

Designated as a Scheduled Castes Constituency.
During the 2012 elections, the total number of electors was 221055 and the turnout stood at 65.72%, in real numbers- 145273 voters. 2017 witnessed a turnout decrease; out of the 241795 electors, 57.18% of voters exercised their constitutional rights. In real numbers it translates to 138256 voters.
Representation and Results
2017’s assembly election winner INC’s Maru Pravinbhai Tidabhai gained a vote share of 50.24% and defeated BJP’s Atmaram Makanbhai Parmar whose vote share stood at 43.42%. The remaining candidate in the fray was independent candidate V. V. Pramar with 0.98% Vote share. 2.07% of votes were under NOTA.
Voting History -2012 & 2017
In 2012, BJP won the constituency and earned 64053 votes which decreased to 60033 votes in 2017. On the other hand, INC garnered 54959 votes in 2012 and 69457 votes to win the seat in 2017. Both BJP and INC won 1 seat each in the district of Botad in 2017.
