5 Gram panchayats (Basuaghai, Itipur, Tikarapada, Dhauli and Sisupal) of Bhubaneswar block and Ward No.12, 14, 15 and 30 to 34 and Ward No. 38 to 47 of Bhubaneswar.

Voter Turnout

During the 2014 elections, the total number of electors was 249467 and the turnout stood at 45.99%, in real numbers- 114718 voters. 2019 witnessed a turnout increase; out of the 280904 electors, 46.43% of voters exercised their constitutional rights. In real numbers it was a reasonable jump-130437 voters.
Representation and Results

2019’s assembly election winner, BJD’s Ashok Chandra Panda gained a vote share of 57.50% and defeated BJP’s Babu Singh whose vote share stood at 35.50%. The remaining candidates in the fray were INC’s Rashmi Mohapatra with 5.20% of votes share and BSP’s Binapani Bhoi with 0.40% vote share.
Voting History -2014 & 2019


In 2014, BJD won the constituency and earned 66376 votes and 75020 votes in 2019. On the other hand, BJP garnered 29900 votes in 2014 and 46363 votes in 2019 while INC received 8148 votes in 2014 and 6780 votes in 2019. BSP got 476 votes in 2019. BJD dominated the district of Khordha in 2019 by winning 7 seats. The remaining 1 seat went to INC.
