In 2009, INC gain 45.23% of the vote share which saw quite a dip in 2014 to 33.19% and increased to 40.58% in 2019. SAD got 33.85% of the vote share in 2009 which decreased to 26.37% in 2014 and increased marginally to 27.76% in 2019. BJP’s vote share in 2009 was 10.06%, which decreased to 8.77% in 2014 and saw a nominal increase in 2019 to 9.74%. AAP in its first foray into contention in 2014 gained 24.40% of the vote share which decreased significantly to 7.46% in 2019.

In terms of vote share, INC has gained maximum but SAD too enjoys significant support across the state. It will be putting in efforts and placing all resources at its disposal to further consolidate its vote share in the next general election.
