2017’s assembly election winner, INC’s Satpal Singh Raizada gained a vote share of 49.61% and defeated BJP’s Satpal Singh Satti whose vote share stood at 44.55%. The other prominent candidates in the fray were the independent candidate Rajiv Gautam with 2.73% and BSP’s Ravi Kumar with 1.04% vote share.
