BJP received 49.58% of the vote share in the 2009 elections, 53.85% in 2014 and a significantly increased vote share of 69.71% in 2019. INC, on the other hand, garnered a vote share of 45.61% in 2009, 41.07% in 2014 and 27.53% in 2019.
The last 3 general elections witnessed the BJP emerging as the dominating party in the hill state in terms of vote share.
