Anandapur assembly constituency is located in Kendujhar district and consists of:
Anandapur, Hatadihi block and 14 GPs (Bailo, Baunsagarh, Belabahali, Gayalmunda, Haridapal, Jalasuan, Kantipal, Kathakata, Kodapada, Manoharpur, Panasadiha, Panchupalli, Salabani and Taratara) of Anandapur block.

Voter Turnout

During the 2014 elections, the total number of electors was 199505 and the turnout stood at 80.37%, in real numbers- 160346 voters. 2019 witnessed a turnout decrease; out of the 226309 electors, 74.85% of voters exercised their constitutional rights. In real numbers though it was a reasonable jump-169400 voters.
Representation and Results

2019’s assembly election winner, BJD’s Bhagirathi Sethy gained a vote share of 53.00% and defeated INC’s Jayadev Jena whose vote share stood at 27.00%. The remaining candidates in the fray were BJP’s Alok Kumar Sethy with 18.60% vote share and HND’s Akhil Charan Jena with 0.40% of vote share.

In 2014, BJD won the constituency and earned 82520 votes and 89850 votes in 2019. On the other hand, INC garnered 60296 votes in 2014 and 45657 votes in 2019 while BJP acquired 12664 votes in 2014 and 31554 votes in 2019. HND got 685 votes in 2019. BJD dominated the district of Kendujhar in 2019 by winning 5 seats. The remaining 1 seat was won by BJP.
