Jodiya Taluka (Part) Villages – Ranjitpar, Untbet-Shampar, Zinzuda, Rajpar, Fadsar, Bela, Rampar (Padabekad), Kothariya, Amran, Kharachiya, Kerali, Fatsar, Jivapar, Badanpar (Amran), Dhudkot, Mavnugam, Dudhai, Manamora, Bhimkata, Jamsar, Sampar, Ambala, Koyli, Padana, Jiragadh, Tarana, Madhapar, Balambha, Keshiya, Manpar, Morana, Meghpar, Jasapar, Bodka, Pithad, Gajdi, Rasnal, Timbdi. 

Dhrol Taluka – Entire taluka except villages – Chhalla, Golita.

Kalavad Electoral Turnout Rates

During the 2012 elections, the total number of electors was 194894 and the constituency recorded a voter turnout of 68.98%, in real numbers- 134442 voters. 2017 witnessed a turnout decrease; out of the 215156 electors, 61.49% of voters exercised their constitutional rights. In real numbers it translates to 132295 voters.

2017’s assembly election winner, INC’s Musadiya Pravinbhai Narashibhai gained a vote share of 59.02% and defeated BJP’s Ghaiyada Muljibhai Dayabhai whose vote share stood at 34.12%. The remaining candidate in the fray was BSP’s Sondarva Damjibhai Najabhai with 1.65% Vote share. 2.07% of votes were under NOTA.

In 2012, BJP won the constituency and earned 49027 votes that decreased to 45134 votes in 2017 and resulted in defeat for the party. On the other hand, INC garnered 42908 votes in 2012 and 78085 votes in 2017 to emerge as a winner that year. BSP got 2185 votes in 2017. INC placed itself in a dominant position in the district of Jamnagar in 2017 by winning 3 seats while BJP managed to score 2 seats.
