The Aonla Lok Sabha seat has witnessed several winning candidates and parties since its inception.
In 1962, Brij Raj Singh won the seat for Hindu Maha Sabha, followed by Savitri Shyam from Indian National Congress who managed to stage two consecutive victories in 1967 and 1971. Brij Raj Singh won again in 1977, this time for Janata Party, and in 1980, Jaipal Singh Kashyap from Janata Party (Secular) won the seat. Kalyan Singh Solanki from Indian National Congress emerged victorious in 1984, followed by Raj Veer Singh from Bharatiya Janata Party in 1989 who again won in 1991.

In 1996, Sarvraj Singh from Samajwadi Party won the seat. Raj Veer Singh from Bharatiya Janata Party won the seat again in 1998, while Sarvraj Singh from Samajwadi Party won the seat in 1999. In 2004, the Janata Dal (United) won the seat, followed by Maneka Gandhi from Bharatiya Janata Party in 2009. In 2014, Dharmendra Kashyap won the seat and followed it with yet another victory in the 2019 general elections.

When it comes to success rate in the Aonla Lok Sabha seat, BJP had the highest rate at 40%, followed by INC at 20%. Among other prominent parties, SP managed a 13% success rate whereas it was 7% for JD(U) in the parliamentary constituency.
